開(kāi)發(fā)DCS最難的是控制器的開(kāi)發(fā)問(wèn)題，一是硬件，用的是PC機卡，操作系統也是通用型的，如微軟的NT、加拿大開(kāi)發(fā)的QNX等，價(jià)格高，使得利潤減低。二是功能塊的開(kāi)發(fā)。這是最難的。功能塊的數量幾乎是無(wú)限的。它的工作量很大，不僅要有軟件人員，還要有工程人員的配合，才能編出好用的功能塊。由于我國以前實(shí)行計劃經(jīng)濟，對技術(shù)人才一是不重視，二是各單位私有。一個(gè)單位很難集中有如此多的優(yōu)秀的技術(shù)人員。我國軟件開(kāi)發(fā)人員不僅數量少，而且習慣于自己獨立編程，不能很好的與現場(chǎng)技術(shù)人員交流，所以開(kāi)發(fā)的功能塊就會(huì )出現不如人意的地方。國產(chǎn)DCS不僅功能塊的數量少，而且據用戶(hù)反映，如順序控制器功能塊，其真值表不象國外的那樣好用。又如自調整功能塊，現場(chǎng)一般都不用，即使用也不好用。
