This allows you to adjust the connector to the optimal position to protect the connection from possible environmental pollution while providing cable access. The circular connector housing can be rotated in either direction. Follow these steps to rotate the connector. Install and fully secure the mating cable on the feedback or power brake connector. Grasp the mating connector and cable plug by hand and slowly rotate them to the outside of the motor. Repeat these steps for the other connector. Note that if the motor is powered on, the loose shaft keys and the disconnected cables of the disconnected mechanical coupling of the unmounted motor are dangerous. Lock and mark the removed device to limit power supply. Before energizing the motor, remove the shaft key and other mechanical couplings that may be thrown from the shaft. Care shall be taken to ensure that cables are installed and restrained to prevent uneven tension or bending at cable connections. When the cable is bent, excessive and uneven lateral forces on the cable will inhibit environmental sealing. Do not rotate the connector more than once, nor use tools or excessive force to rotate the connector. Excessive rotation or force can damage the connector seal and reduce the international protection level of the motor, as described in the specifications on page. Note that only force is applied to the motor connector and cable plug. Do not apply force to the cable protruding from the cable plug. Do not use tools such as pliers and vises to rotate the connector.
